Admission Criteria

BSC Nursing

Duration 4 years
Eligibility criteria 1)Age: - Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2024.

2) Minimum qualifications for admission are as per INC Regulation: -
1. Candidates with Science who have passed qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
2. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together shall be 40% instead of 45% for General Category candidates.
3. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in B.Sc. Nursing.

Document Required at the Time of Admission

At the time of interview the students must bring the following original documents and one sets of photocopies -

  1. High school mark sheet and certificate.
  2. Intermediate mark sheet.
  3. Caste Certificate, if applicable.
  4. Character Certificate from Gazatted Officer.
  5. Domicile Certificate
  6. An Affidavit regarding regular attendance of classes/not working any where during classes.
  7. An affidavit regarding no-involvement in ragging activities.
  8. Certificate of medical fitness issued by Government Medical College/District Hospital/District CMO.
  9. 9Domicile Certificate.
  10. Valid NCC certificate, if applicable
  11. Any Other Professional Education Certificates.


MSC NURSING –

Duration 4 years
Eligibility criteria Minimum qualifications for admission for M.Sc. Nursing are as per INC Regulation: -
1. The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with State Nursing Registration Council of Uttar Pradesh state (UP Nurses and Midwives Council).
2. If the candidate is a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council outside Uttar Pradesh state, they will be eligible if their institution/college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. The Minimum education requirements shall be the passing of B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
4. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
5.Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

Document Required at the Time of Admission

At the time of interview the students must bring the following original documents and one sets of photocopies -

  1. High school mark sheet and certificate.
  2. Intermediate mark sheet.
  3. Bsc nursing / post -basic Bsc nursing marksheet and degree.
  4. Valid Experience Certificate
  5. Caste Certificate, if applicable.
  6. Character Certificate from Gazatted Officer.

  9. An affidavit regarding no-involvement in ragging activities.
