College of Nursing provides excellent laboratory facilities for basic learning within Maternal and Child Health Sciences comprising latest articles and equipments. Obstetrics and Gynecology Lab is for equipped with all the requisite articles for developing the skills of students for handling normal and complicated deliveries. The students gain skills in imparting comprehensive maternity care and child care.
The lab contains various Obstetrical charts related to antenatal, intranatal and postnatal care, including models to practice the conduct of labour. It also includes baby mannequins to practice pediatric nursing procedures, growth charts, and immunization schedules and play materials for different age groups. The aim of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Lab is to achieve excellence in basic and applied teaching relating to child health and obstetrics & gynecology.
